Toddler Falls From Casino Pier Sky Ride, Investigation Underway — 1dA 2-year-old girl fell from Casino Pier's Sky Ride in Seaside Heights, NJ, landing on the boardwalk edge and then the sand; she and a supervising aunt plus a 3-year-old boy were evaluated with no serious injuries, and the ride was shut down as responders investigated. The incident is being investigated by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, with officials noting the ride appeared to function properly at the time and no defects were initially identified.
