TPG Proposes A$24.55 Per-Share Takeover of EQT Holdings — Aug 18, 2026TPG Global has made an unsolicited, non-binding takeover proposal to acquire 100% of EQT Holdings for A$24.55 per share via a scheme of arrangement, with exclusivity for due diligence and conditions including FIRB, ACCC and APRA approvals; EQT has appointed UBS and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer as advisers as it evaluates the offer amid recent share-price volatility tied to the First Guardian collapse. EQT is set to announce FY26 results on 20 August 2026 and will decide on a final dividend as part of its update to shareholders.
