CVC Capital Partners to Name Sisitsky and Rutland Co-CEOs in 2028
CVC Capital Partners plans to appoint TPG executive Todd Sisitsky and longtime CVC leader Peter Rutland as co-chief executive officers in the first quarter of 2028, succeeding current CEO Rob Lucas. Sisitsky, a more than two-decade TPG veteran and prominent health care investor, will also chair CVC’s partner board, while Rutland will provide continuity after 19 years at the firm overseeing credit, insurance, secondaries and infrastructure. Lucas, who led CVC through its 2024 public listing, is expected to remain involved in the firm’s investment activities after stepping down. The transition comes as CVC expands beyond traditional buyouts across a private-markets platform managing more than $200 billion in assets.
