Some critics do not believe a CBS journalist handled the “60 Minutes” interview with President Joe Biden well.
Scott Pelley interviewed Biden on Sunday night and some were disappointed with his line of questioning.
Conservative commentator Bill O’Reilly tweeted, “Scott Pelley doesn’t push him. Nothing at all on the border. Lots of soft balls.”
Another user called Pelley a “bad journalist and interviewer.”
One user argued that the program is a “complete embarrassment. An absolute shell of what it was when it WASN’T the media propaganda wing of the DNC. Scott Pelley is the poster boy for the death of journalism.”

Biden also received some criticism for a remark he made about the COVID-19 pandemic during the interview, as IJR reported.
“The pandemic is over,” Biden said.
He added, “The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with Covid. We’re still doing a lot of work on it. But the pandemic is over.”
The president continued, “If you notice, no one’s wearing masks. Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think it’s changing. And I think this is a perfect example of it.”
Biden’s comments sparked a wave of criticism from users on Twitter.
He spoke on other issues during the interview with Pelley, including inflation, as IJR reported.
After Pelley pointed out that that inflation is currently hovering near a 40-year high, Biden responded, “I got that… We’re in a position where for the last several months it hasn’t spiked. It’s been basically even.”
