Some critics do not believe a CBS journalist handled the â60 Minutesâ interview with President Joe Biden well.
Scott Pelley interviewed Biden on Sunday night and some were disappointed with his line of questioning.
Conservative commentator Bill OâReilly tweeted, âScott Pelley doesnât push him. Nothing at all on the border. Lots of soft balls.â
Another user called Pelley a âbad journalist and interviewer.â
One user argued that the program is a âcomplete embarrassment. An absolute shell of what it was when it WASNâT the media propaganda wing of the DNC. Scott Pelley is the poster boy for the death of journalism.â

Biden also received some criticism for a remark he made about the COVID-19 pandemic during the interview, as IJR reported.
âThe pandemic is over,â Biden said.
He added, âThe pandemic is over. We still have a problem with Covid. Weâre still doing a lot of work on it. But the pandemic is over.â
The president continued, âIf you notice, no oneâs wearing masks. Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think itâs changing. And I think this is a perfect example of it.â
Bidenâs comments sparked a wave of criticism from users on Twitter.
He spoke on other issues during the interview with Pelley, including inflation, as IJR reported.
After Pelley pointed out that that inflation is currently hovering near a 40-year high, Biden responded, âI got that⌠Weâre in a position where for the last several months it hasnât spiked. Itâs been basically even.â
