Adam Kinzinger’s Listing for Signed January 6 Reports Briefly Taken Down Following Report

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) briefly took down a listing for signed reports on the January 6 riot after a report on the sale was released.

According to Fox News, the listing was removed on Tuesday evening just after the outlet reported Kinzinger’s PAC was selling signed copies of the report.

Fox News noted Kinzinger later reposted the listing to clarify “all proceeds will benefit charitable organizations working to uphold and defend democracy in America.”

The listing on the website explains, “On January 6, 2021, the United States came perilously close to losing its democracy. A mob instigated by the president of the United States violently attacked the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., seeking to disrupt the certification of the electors in the presidential election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in American history.”

It continues, “To uncover the truth of the events, the United States House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol was formed as a bipartisan select committee to investigate the U.S. Capitol attack.
