Sacha Baron Cohen surprised Wimbledon crowds by stepping out as his famous alter ego Ali G, fueling speculation that the character could be returning in a new movie.

The actor was spotted in the stands during the tournament wearing the character’s signature style, including a white track jacket with the words “Official Wimbledon Ganja Dealer” printed on the back, a thick gold chain and other accessories associated with the fictional personality, per Page Six.

Observers spotted Cohen sitting in section 215 while fully embracing the character that first gained attention on the British comedy series “The 11 O’Clock Show.”

Ali G became one of Cohen’s most recognizable creations, with the character later receiving his own television series and the 2002 film

"Ali G Indahouse." Much like Cohen’s "Borat" character, Ali G’s interviews often involved unsuspecting guests who believed they were interacting with a real person.

Cohen also shared a video of himself in character on Instagram, appearing to continue the joke for fans watching the Wimbledon action.

“I iz BACK!” Cohen wrote in the post, using Ali G’s trademark exaggerated speech patterns while joking about the tournament and the sport of tennis.

The appearance comes amid reports that Cohen may be secretly working on a new Ali G movie.

While no official announcement has been made, the actor’s return to the character has renewed interest among fans who have followed the character for decades.

Cohen’s Wimbledon appearance was not his first visit to this year’s tournament.

He was previously seen attending another day of the event wearing a white linen suit and green shirt, though he had not yet returned to the Ali G persona.

The comedian was among a long list of celebrities attending

Wimbledon this year. The tournament also drew appearances from figures including Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, who attended the men’s singles final with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The royal family members received a standing ovation from celebrities in attendance, including Nicole Kidman, Andrew Garfield, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hiddleston and Anna Wintour.
