Student Ari Spielman traveled to Israel to study for his master’s degree in environmental science just days before Hamas attacked Israel; now he is the co-founder of a student-run humanitarian organization providing much-needed supplies to displaced families caught in the Israel-Palestine war.
Operation manna was founded less than a week ago and just received its non-profit status. Spielman told Fox News, “Everyone was leaving, but I felt like I needed to do something.”
“I wanted to help,” he added, noting, “The damage was massive, and there was hundreds of thousands of people displaced and that within Israel.”
