The Republican Voters Against Trump, which has received substantial funding from Democratic donors, announced an $11.5 million ad campaign across several key battleground states on Monday to encourage disaffected GOP voters to support Vice President Kamala Harris.
The ad buy, which is the most expensive campaign the group has launched so far, poured $4.5 million inĀ Pennsylvania, $3 million inĀ Michigan, $2.2 million inĀ WisconsinĀ and $1.5 million inĀ Arizona, as well as $375,000 inĀ NebraskaāsĀ second congressional district. The groupāsĀ parentĀ organization, the Republican Accountability PAC, hadĀ receivedĀ 75% of its funding from six major Democratic donors as of March of this year.
The campaign features video ads andĀ billboardsĀ plastered throughout theĀ statesĀ showcasing Republican voters who initially supported former President Donald Trump but have instead come out in support of Harris.

The six major donors include tech founder and Jeffery Epstein associate ReidĀ HoffmanĀ as well as JohnĀ Pritzker, an investor andĀ cousinĀ of Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker of Illinois,Ā accordingĀ to FEC filings. Harris is narrowly leading Trump inĀ PennsylvaniaĀ by 0.5 points,Ā MichiganĀ by 1.1 points andĀ WisconsinĀ by 1.4 points, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls conducted across August. However, Trump is leading Harris inĀ ArizonaĀ by 0.5 points.
In the remaining battleground states, Trump is leading by a slim margin with a 0.2 point advantage inĀ Georgia, 0.6 points inĀ North CarolinaĀ and tying inĀ Nevada, according to RealClearPolitics poll averages from August.
The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
