Actor Ben affleck went viral on social media for his expression at the Grammy Awards.

A short clip of Affleck sitting next to his wife, Jennifer Lopez, at the event showed him looking less than thrilled.

Spencer Althouse, deputy editorial director at Buzzfeed, tweeted, ā€œHowever bad of a day you’re having, I promise you’re not as miserable as Ben affleck at the Grammys right now.ā€

Twitter users reacted to the post, sharing their jokes and other comments.

Anchor Liam Martin wrote, ā€œAwards shows are simply not Boston guys’ scene.ā€

One user replied, ā€œUgh can we wrap this up? I gotta wake up early and get a silly amount of Dunkin’ Donuts.ā€

Last year, Affleck spoke out about how he previously struggled with criticism he received in the early 2000s.

ā€œI got to a place where (the public perception) was so different from who I am that I just stopped reading and stopped caring,ā€ Affleck said at the time.

He added, ā€œBut then, as my kids got older and started seeing the internet themselves, that’s the difficult part. Even the ā€˜Sad Affleck’ meme – that was funny to me. I mean, there’s nobody who hasn’t felt that way at a junket. But then my kids see it and I think, ā€˜Oh, are they going to think their dad is fundamentally sad or they have to worry about me?’ That’s really tough.ā€
