The Biden administration has changed its stance on building a Border Wall to curb the flood of illegal immigrants entering the U.S.

Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, posted a notice Thursday, declaring, “It is necessary to waive certain laws, regulations, and other legal requirements in order to ensure the expeditious construction of barriers and roads in the vicinity of the international land border in Starr County, Texas.”

This takes effect immediately, citing, “As of early August 2023, Border Patrol had encountered over 245,000 such entrants attempting to enter the United States between ports of entry in the Rio Grande Valley Sector in Fiscal Year 2023.”

“Therefore, DHS will take immediate action to construct barriers and roads,” Mayorkis added.

He also stated in the document this will be funded through the 2019 appropriations that approved Border Wall construction while former President Donald Trump was serving in the White House.

According to the New York Post, this contradicts President Joe Biden’s previous stance.

to express his thoughts on the subject. He declared, “As I have stated often, over thousands of years, there are only two things that have consistently worked, wheels, and walls!”

“Will Joe Biden appolgize to me and America for taking so long to get moving, and allowing our country to be flooded with 15 million illegal immigrants, from places unknown,” he asked.

“I await his apology!” he concluded.

Independent journalist Chuck Callesto agreed. He posted the news to X, formerly Twitter, and stated, “Trump was right..”

Conservative bodybuilder Ian Jaeger, also shared the news and commented, “Reminder— the Biden Administration auctioned off unused Border Wall parts.”

Trending Politics co-owner Colin Rugg noted, “Gee, maybe they shouldn’t have sold all the Border Wall parts.”

Comedian Tim Young wrote, “Mayorkas now says we need to immediately build a Border Wall…”

“But I was told by Biden and his administration that border walls were racist…,” he added.
