President Joe Biden is condemning antisemitic protests on college campuses in the wake of Israelâs war against Hamas following the Oct. 7 massacre.
However, he is also condemning another group.
On Monday, a reporter asked Biden, âDo you condemn the antisemitic protests on college campuses?â
âI condemn the antisemitic protests. Thatâs why I have set up a program to deal with that,â the president responded.
He added, âI also condemn those who donât understand whatâs going on with the Palestinians.â

The question came after over 100 protesters were arrested at Columbia University after they set up an encampment to demand the university divest from Israel and accused it of being complicit in âgenocide.â
Demonstrators reportedly called police officers the âKKKâ and âbaby killers.â One officer said they were told to âgo kill ourselves.â
Israel has been conducting a war against Hamas after its Oct. 7 attack killed nearly 1,200 people. The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says over 34,000 Palestinians have been killed in the war, however, that number has not been independently confirmed.
