President Joe Biden is trying to capitalize on a comment from former President Donald Trump to attack him.

However, his attempt to do so in a speech to the NAACP is not going exactly as he expected.

On Tuesday, Biden referenced a comment Trump made during their first debate when he said illegal immigrants are ā€œtaking Black jobs, and they’re taking Hispanic jobs.ā€

ā€œOf course, here’s what he thinks of ā€˜Black jobs,’ I love his phrase ā€˜Black jobs,ā€ Biden said. ā€œTells a lot about the man and about his character.ā€

He added, ā€œFolks, I know what a Black job is! It’s the Vice President of the United States.ā€

Biden also said, ā€œI know what a Black job is, the first Black president in American history, Barack Obama!ā€

While the moment was meant as a jab at Trump, it did not go over well.
