What do you give a presidential candidate for his 78th birthday?
If your campaigning against him, you mock his 78 âaccomplishments â one for each year of his life.
Thatâs the tactic President Joe Bidenâs campaign did to commemorate political foe Donald Trumpâs birthday, The Hill reported
The Biden campaign listed Yrumpâs legal troubles and controversial moments when he was in the White House.
The list included Trumpâs 34 felony convictions in New York for falsifying business records, his difficulties as a business owner, his calling for the death penalty for the Central Park Five, a video he posted on social media referencing a âunified Reich,â and his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
âHappy birthday, Donald. Youâre a crook, a failure, a fraud, and a threat to our democracy, economy, rights, and future,â Biden campaign spokesperson James Singer said. âOn behalf of America, our early gift for your 79th: Making sure you are never President again.â
Trump will celebrate his birthday, which is Friday, by attending an event in Florida.
The issue of Age has played a big part in this yearâs election given Trump is battling 81-year/old Biden.
A CBS News/YouGov poll found 50% of voters believe Trump has the mental and cognitive accuity to serve as president. However, only 35% said the same about Biden.Â
Regardless of which candidate wins, that person would be the oldest president to ever serve by the end of the term.Â
Trump would be 82 and seven months old; Biden would be 86 and two months old.
