A BBQ was hosted at the White House as war was breaking out in Israel over the weekend.
According to the Washington Examiner, the Biden administration received harsh criticism for throwing the party amid the new conflict.
Live music was heard coming from the Rose Garden, and White House officials noted that President Joe Biden and his wife were “hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence staff and their families.”
The Libs of TikTok outlet criticized this on X, formerly Twitter, stating, “While Americans are currently being held hostage by hamas terrorists, Biden decided to spend his evening throwing a party at the White House. Absolutely despicable.”
Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) stated, “Israel is under attack, Americans are being held hostage by Islamic-Nazi murders, the Middle East is unraveling & Joe Biden hosted a BBQ at the White House.”
“This is the same man who left Americans behind in Afghanistan & was tracking time when our dead heroes returned home,” he added.
The Citizen Free Press posted, “Joe and Jill Biden are partying it up. They held a BBQ event with live music in the Rose Garden Sunday as the Middle East pops off.”
Peter Doocy, a White House correspondent for Fox News, reported, “Biden had nothing to say about Israel on camera today.”
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) noted, “While Hamas holds Americans hostage, Joe Biden is enjoying a picnic with a live band.”
The Kari Lake War Room posted, “Nero fiddled while Rome burned. hosted a Barbecue.”
Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Tex.), wrote, “Biden was briefed yesterday that 9 Americans had been murdered by Hamas.”
“The administration knew yesterday that hundreds of Israelis had been murdered by Hamas,” he went on.
Then he concluded, “And they still went on with their BBQ at the White House. Let that sink in.”
