Biden Insists He Is Not Angry With Dems Who Pushed Him to Step Aside

President Joe Biden is insisting he is not harboring a grudge over being pushed off the ticket.

During his speech at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, Biden said, “It’s been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your president. I love my job, but I love my country more.”

“All this talk about how I’m angry at all those people who said I should step down. It’s not true!”

The speech comes on the opening night of the DNC roughly a month after Biden caved to pressure to drop out of the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place on the ticket.
