President Joe Biden is insisting he is not harboring a grudge over being pushed off the ticket.

During his speech at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, Biden said, ā€œIt’s been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your president. I love my job, but I love my country more.ā€

ā€œAll this talk about how I’m angry at all those people who said I should step down. It’s not true!ā€

The speech comes on the opening night of the DNC roughly a month after Biden caved to pressure to drop out of the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place on the ticket.
