Biden Seems to Accidentally Spill Details About Jimmy Carter’s Health

President Joe Biden appeared to accidentally spill details about former President 👤Jimmy Carter’s health during a speech.

While delivering remarks at a fundraiser in Rancho Santa Fe, California, Biden said, “He asked me to do his eulogy – excuse me, I shouldn’t say that.”

Biden added, “I spent time with 👤Jimmy Carter, and it’s finally caught up with him. But they found a way to keep him going for a lot longer than they anticipated, because they found a breakthrough.”

According to Fox News, Biden also suggested Carter’s cancer had returned.

Last month, the Carter Center issued a statement on the former president’s health, IJR reported.

“After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President 👤Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention,” the statement read.

It continued, “He has the full support of his family and his medical team. The Carter family asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his many admirers.”

Biden and the first lady previously visited the Carters at their home in Plains, Georgia, in 2021.

“It was great to see President Carter,” Biden said at the time.

He added, “It reminded me that I was the first person to endorse him outside of Georgia. And we sat and talked about the old days and he introduced me to a friend of his, a reverend he wanted me to get to know, and Rosalynn was great, too. We just had a nice time. We’re old friends.”

After the visit, Biden also commented on Carter’s health, saying, “His health has gotten better. It’s amazing. It’s bouncing back and we talked a little bit about cancer research, a few other things.”

Carter and his wife delivered what were described as “rare” public remarks during the Democratic National Convention in 2020 to endorse Biden.

“Joe has the experience, character and decency to bring us together and restore America’s greatness,” Carter said.

He continued, “We deserve a person with integrity and judgment, someone who is honest and fair, someone who is committed to what is best for the American people.”

Carter declared Biden “must be our next president.”
