Bidenâs campaign was pressed on if Democratic presidential nominee Joe Bidenâs uses a teleprompter for âQ&As,â but the campaign refuses to answer.
Bidenâs national press secretary T.J. Ducklo was repeatedly questioned by Fox Newsâ Bret Baier about if Biden has used a teleprompter to answer questions in local interviews or during âQ&Asâ with supporters.
However, during the interview on Thursday evening, Ducklo suggested Baier was using talking points from President Donald Trumpâs reelection campaign.
âWe are not going to â this is straight from the Trump campaign talking points,â Ducklo fired back.
He continued, âAnd what it does, Bret, is itâs trying to distract the American people from,â before Baier jumped in to ask, âCan you say yes or no?â
When Ducklo then said that the Trump campaign discusses the teleprompter because they âdonât have a coherent strategy,â Baier responded, âWell, you havenât answered, yes or no?â
See the comments below (starting at 6:20):
âThey talk about it every day because they donât have a coherent argument for why Donald Trump deserves reelection, deserves four more years,â Ducklo said.
He continued, âWe know that he lied to the American people. We know that he has not shown leadership during this crisis and they are desperate to throw anything they can against the wall to try to distract from that fact.â
When asked once more if he would answer the question, Bidenâs press secretary then said he is ânot going to allow the Trump campaign to funnel their questions through Fox News and get me to respond to that.â
The interview drew a response from Megyn Kelly, who tweeted, âPoor kid has no idea how obvious it is that heâs dodging and we can all see it.â
