Biden Claims He Is Taking ‘Heat’ Because He Named ‘The Black Man’ as Secretary of Defense

President Joe Biden insists he is getting “heat” for naming 🎖️Lloyd Austin as the secretary of Defense.

But, during an interview with BET, he seemed to forget Austin’s name.

“Look at the heat I’m getting because I, I named a, uh, the, uh, secretary of defense — the black man,” Biden stated. “I named — I mean because of the people I’ve named.”

After the interview was recorded, the White House announced Biden tested positive for COVID-19.

Biden has previously appeared to forget Austin’s name. In 2021, he referred to Austin as “the guy who runs that outfit over there.”
