Former President Joe Biden was on a roll Saturday night as he trolled the president on everything from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to the ballroom.

Biden went after President Donald Trump during his speech at a gala hosted by the Maryland Democratic Party.

“It’s not just his vanity projects,” Biden said. “He’s tearing down the East Wing of the White House, making room for his ballroom. Putting his name on the Kennedy Center. Building an arch in his own honor. Even hiring his own pool guy to fix his Reflecting Pool.

“Whoa, what a loser,” Biden said.

Watch:

Trump has experienced a bumpy road since the renovation of Reflecting Pool started.

Officials have had to deal with an algae bloom and alleged vandalism since the site was repainted and repaired.

Other beatification projects the Trump administration has undertaken include a White House ballroom being built on the site of the East Room and plans to build a triumphal arch in honor of the president.

Trump’s name was also added to the Kennedy Center exterior but has since been removed before after a federal judge’s order.

“Now folks, it’s not just that,” Biden said. “The Reflecting Pool reflects something even worse than the narcissism and incompetence at the core of this administration. It’s the corruption, the brazen, blatant corruption. Corruption on a scale never seen before in American history in any administration.

“Trump has made billions of dollars since his return to the White House,” he continued. “It’s simply stunning to me. He has no shame. And frankly, it’s embarrassing to the country. But Trump could care less. Making money off the presidency is one of the reasons he wants to be president.”

Biden has not been seen in public much as he battles an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

After Trump’s record-length State of the Union address in February, Biden jokingly asked if Trump was “still talking” days later.

In October, Biden was also critical if Trump.

“Friends, I can’t sugarcoat any of this. These are dark days,” Biden said at the time.

Regardless, Trump holds a slightly more favorable opinion of Trump than Biden, according to at least one recent poll.

The CNN survey released in June found that 57% of Americans have a favorable view of former President Barack Obama, compared with 34% for Trump and 30% for Biden.
