The house is located Mattapan, Massachusetts.
said Saturday they found a Body inside a home owned by Rep. Ayanna Pressley husband.
Police did not reveal any information about the victim or the cause of death. The departmen’s homicide unit is leading the investigation.
City records show the house is owned by Pressley’s husband, Conan Harris.
The home is a rental property Harris purchased in 2021. The house has been on the market for the past month with $1.15 million.
“The Congresswoman extends her deepest condolences to the impacted family,” a spokesperson for Pressley said in a statement.
Real estate agents told the Boston Globe the tenants had lived there some time.
The Globe reported the two-story, seven-bedroom home was raided two months ago. It is not unclear if any criminal charges came from that incident.
Pressley first took office in 2018 and is a member of the “Squad,” a quartet of left-wing House members that includes New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib and Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar.
Pressley and Harris married in 2014.
Harris previously spent 10 years in prison on a drug trafficking conviction.
