Rep. Lauren Boebert has secured the Republican nomination for Colorado's 4th Congressional District after running unopposed in Tuesday's primary, positioning herself for a bid for a fourth term in the U.S. House.

According to Fox News, the Colorado Republican now advances to the Nov. 3 general election, where she will seek another term representing the district she switched to ahead of the 2024 election cycle.

Boebert's primary victory comes after months of political friction involving House Republicans and President Donald Trump. Despite those disagreements, she emerged from the primary without facing a challenger.

If Boebert wins reelection in November, she would become the only remaining member of a group of House Republicans who joined

Democrats in advancing the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The other Republicans involved have since left office or lost their bids for higher office.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene resigned from Congress earlier this year after parting ways with President Trump over issues including foreign aid, government transparency and federal spending.

Rep. Thomas Massie remains in office but was defeated in his Republican primary by a candidate backed by President Trump.

Rep. Nancy Mace also will not return to Congress after falling short in her campaign for the Republican nomination for governor of South Carolina. Trump did not endorse her bid.

Although Boebert avoided a primary contest, she has not been immune from criticism by President Trump.

In a Truth Social post in May, Trump questioned whether another Republican should challenge Boebert in Colorado's 4th District, pointing to her decision to move from her previous congressional district and criticizing her support for Massie.

“Is anyone interested in running against weak-minded Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s fourth congressional district?” Trump wrote.

“You remember Lauren moved to the district when it became obvious that she couldn’t win in her original congressional district. Boebert is campaigning for the worst ‘Republican’ congressman in the history of our country, Thomas Massie. Even though I long ago endorsed Boebert, if the right person came along, it would be my honor to withdraw that endorsement and endorse a good and proper alternative.”

Boebert announced her decision to seek election in Colorado's 4th District in December 2023, months before the House vote on the Epstein Files legislation.

Despite the public disagreement, Boebert has continued to describe herself as an ally of both Trump and Massie.

In a post on X, Boebert shared a photo of the two men and wrote, “He loves America and is fighting to save it. Also below is my friend and President Donald Trump. He’s put his life on the line to save this great country. I support both of these men. I’ve worked with both to preserve freedom and liberty. And if that makes you angry, bless your heart.”
