As a proud member of Gen Z, I’ll be honest: we didn’t grow up with politicians keeping promises. We grew up watching empty slogans, endless wars, broken systems, and leaders who seemed more interested in apologizing for America than fighting for it. So when Donald Trump walked into Washington promising to put America first, many doubted he would follow through.
But he didn’t just talk — he delivered.
Trump’s first 100 days were a masterclass in action over excuses. While the political establishment and the media laughed, cried, and melted down daily, Trump got to work doing exactly what he said he would: fighting for the forgotten men and women of this country.
From day one, Trump made it clear that national security mattered. He signed executive orders to start securing the southern border. He empowered ICE to enforce immigration laws already on the books. He began building the framework for a stronger, safer America — not just for the next four years, but for the next generation.
Internationally, Trump projected strength, not apology. When Houthi rebels in Yemen crossed the line, Trump didn’t issue a strongly worded statement — he launched targeted military strikes that sent a clear message: America is back, and our enemies will be held accountable. During Trump’s first term, ISIS’s so-called “caliphate” began crumbled rapidly, showing the world that strength, not weakness, is what preserves peace.
