Ian Umney, an English teacher residing in Manchester, got a call that no one wants to hear from their loved one, per Fox News. His wife told him that Russia had invaded Ukraine.
This terrifying news led to Umney quitting his job and trying to find a way to bring not only his wife but his two-year-old son to safety.
This all started when Umney “was awoken early by his wife who called him and said Russia had invaded and they dropped bombs” calling it “the single, most scariest moment of his life,” he told “America Reports.”
