Despite previous videos of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson apparently failing to tarnish his reputation, the clips just keep on coming.
In what seems to be a concerted effort to damage Carlsonâs image by releasing videos of his off-air comments, Matthew Gertz of the left-wing organization Media Matters shared another clip.
On Thursday, Gertz tweeted, âFOXLEAKS: Tucker Carlson asks makeup artist if âpillow fights ever break outâ in the womenâs bathroom in new behind-the-scenes video.â
The video shows the popular commentator engaging in banter with his staff while his make-up is being applied.
Turning to the woman applying his make-up, Carlson asked, âCan I ask you a question, you donât have to answer itâs personal, Iâm not speaking of you but more in general of ladies, when they go to the ladiesâ room and powder their noses, is there actually nose powdering going on?â
âSometimes,â she answered.
Carlson responded, âOoh, I like the sound of that⊠Do pillow fights ever break out?â
âNot in the bathroom,â she said.
The former host added, âThat be more a dorm activity⊠Iâm sorry⊠You are such a good sport. Such a good person⊠but you do not deserve that. And I mean it with great affection.â

If the video was meant to disturb Carlsonâs supporters, at least on Twitter, it appeared to have the opposite effect.
A conservative Twitter user wrote, âWake up â New Tucker banger just dropped.â
Another chimed in, âLMAO. Thank you sir for this uplifting content. Tucker jokes with a team member then tells her what a good person she is. Tucker is a class act!â

It is a strange question for Carlson to be asking and comes off as kind of frat-like behavior. His detractors could say the woman applying his make-up was awkwardly laughing along and felt deeply uncomfortable. She may have.
Although, to be fair, we do not see what happened before this clip so there is no context as to what sparked his question.
Former Fox News host and journalist Megyn Kelly has suggested these clips are being leaked by executives at the network to hurt Carlson.
But eventually, if that is the case, it seems they are going to have to find some bigger incident or worse comment from Carlson if they want to destroy his reputation. So far, the response from his fans has been that the videos simply show Carlson joking around and having fun with his staff off-air.
If these videos of him asking weird, or maybe even inappropriate questions, are all they have on him, theyâre going to have a hard time ripping his fans away. At what point are they going to realize these videos are not having the intended effect?
