The change to the Twitter logo has left users baffled.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk appeared to ditch the iconic blue bird for the Dogecoin dog.

The platform was flooded with reactions to the change.

Tom Warren, senior editor at The Verge, tweeted, “Twitter’s logo has turned into doge 2 days after April Fool’s Day,” along with an upside-down smile emoji.

One user wrote, “The new Twitter logo is amazing,” along with a photoshopped image of both a bird and dog combined.

Another user reacted, saying, “WTF?”

One tweet suggested a “petition to rename ‘tweet’ to ‘bark.'”

As Fortune explained, the icon is “used by the infamous Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency known as a ‘memecoin.'”

The outlet noted Musk has previously promoted Dogecoin.

His endorsement of the cryptocurrency has impacted the value of the coin.

Upon the internet’s recognition of the change to Twitter’s logo, Dogecoin increased by 20% in only 30 minutes, per Fortune.

The change to the logo comes just after Musk requested a judge toss a $258 billion racketeering lawsuit claiming the billionaire conducted a pyramid scheme to back Dogecoin, per Reuters.

“There is nothing unlawful about tweeting words of support for, or funny pictures about, a legitimate cryptocurrency that continues to hold a market cap of nearly $10 billion,” Musk’s lawyers stated.

They continued, “This court should put a stop to plaintiffs’ fantasy and dismiss the complaint.”

Musk has not hesitated to make changes to Twitter’s platform since becoming CEO.

He also made headlines over the weekend for taking away a verified checkmark on The New York Times’ account.
