Radio host Charlamagne Tha God said Thursday that it was “highly hypocritical” for President Joe Biden to warn about the threat of “oligarchy” during his Wednesday farewell address.
Biden delivered a 16-minute speech in which he heavily focused on what he believed President-elect Donald Trump’s second term could bring to America and warned of an “oligarchy” he said is forming that “literally threatens our entire democracy.” When asked for his reaction on “The Breakfast Club,” Charlamagne pointed out that politicians across the spectrum have long accepted financial support from political action committees (PACs) and corporations.

“I think it’s highly hypocritical for any elected official in America to talk about oligarchy when all of them have been puppets for these PACs and corporate donations for years. You know, that’s something that you hear Bernie Sanders talking about and John Fetterman talking about — how you gotta take all of this corporate money out of Politics.”
