Cindy McCain is not too concerned about the possibility of being censured by the Arizona GOP.
Co-host of âThe Viewâ and Cindy McCainâs daughter, Meghan McCain, noted the Arizona GOP is discussing censuring her as well as former Sen. Jeff Flake (R) and Gov. Doug Ducey (R).
She asked Cindy McCain why she thinks there is such anger at the McCain family, Flake and Ducey.
âItâs about whatâs doing right for the country and certainly Senator Flake and our Gov. Ducey have made some very tough decisions lately and in the past â but it was for the good of our state and for our country,â Cindy McCain said.
She added, âIâm in good company. Your dad was censured by them. I think Iâm going to make T-shirts for everyone and wear them.â

She joked with her daughter about no longer being included in being censured with the rest of her family.
âIf they censure you, they should censure all of us,â Meghan McCain replied.
Cindy McCain went on to explain how the Republican party has changed since she joined.
âThe Republican party was the party of inclusion. It was the party of generosity. It was a part of country first. We have lost our way. We have lost our way and itâs time that we get back on track because weâve always been the party that cared deeply, that loved what our country did and what it stood for,â she said.
Cindy McCain continued, âWe have lost our way and I truly hope that as things progress on and we get further away from this mess that occurred that we can do just that. We can get back on track and remind everyone that we are here for the country, not our party.â
The Arizona Republican Party is expected to vote in two weeks to censure Cindy McCain along with Flake and Ducey.
