A CNN panel on Thursday could not help but mock former Vice President Kamala Harrisâ rebrand in an attempt to appeal to young people.
Harris announced in a video that âKamala HQ,â the former social media hub for her failed 2024 presidential campaign, has renamed itself âHeadquartersâ and will be used to rebrand itself as a âGen Z-led progressive content hub.â During a segment on âInside Politics,â CNN host Dana Bash mocked her new handle, @headquarters_67, for referencing a popular meme in an attempt to attract young people.
âBy the way, the handle theyâre using, you can see there, weâre zooming in on it ⌠6-7, as the kids used to say. Well, you know, used to say a lot of things. And I think they also used to say, thatâs probably cringe,â Bash said.

Harris will serve as âchair emerita,â while former aide Rob Flaherty and former KamalaHQ managers Parker Butler and Lauren Kapp âwill advise the effort,â for the new rebranding.
The account posted a teaser video on Wednesday, which depicted a log-in screen with messages in the âpasswordâ field such as âwaytooonlineâ and âproject2025wasreal.â The last time the account had posted any content was on Nov. 5, 2024, the day Harris and her then-running mate, Tim Walz, lost the election to President Donald Trump.
