Comedian James Corden is making headlines again, but this time it does not have anything to do with his behavior at a restaurant.
Political commentator Rupert Meyers posted a video of a moment during Corden’s show during which he made a joke about Twitter that appeared very similar to one previously made by Ricky Gervais.
“When you see Elon Musk talk about Twitter, he does this thing where he goes, ‘It’s the town square,’” Corden said.
He added, “But it isn’t, because if someone puts up a poster in a town square that says ‘guitar lessons available.'”
The video then cuts to Gervais, saying, “That’s like going into a town square, seeing a big notice board and there’s a notice: Guitar lessons.”
Corden then continues, “You don’t get people in the town going: ‘I don’t wanna play the guitar!’”
The footage cuts back to Gervais telling the audience, “Then you go, ‘But I don’t f***ing want guitar lessons.”
