Jay Leno is sporting an eye patch — along with some bruises — after falling down a 60-foot hill.
Leno, 74, was on his way to dinner when the accident occurred Saturday at a Hampton Inn about 30 miles outside of Pittsburgh, CNN reported.
The former “Tonight Show” host, who now has bruising on the left side of face and an eye patch, told “Inside Edition” he fell as he walked toward a restaurant close to the hotel before a nearby performance.
Leno said he broke his wrist, lost a fingernail and is “all black and blue” – on the left side of his body and face. His eye is also swollen shut.
Leno told TMZ he did not have a car and the hotel staff gave him a route that included walking about a mile and a half.
He instead tried an alternate route down a hill.
