Twitter owner Elon Musk is making his choice to be the companyâs CEO official: NBCUniversal advertising chief Linda Yaccarino.
And conservatives are confused.
In a tweet on Friday, Musk wrote, âI am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!
âwill focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design new technology. Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app,â he added.
Michael Seifert, the founder of PublicSq, wrote, âWhy though? Very hard to understand this move.â
Author Jacob Airey wrote, âThere were so many amazing candidates and you picked a globalist who did the dirty work of the MSM. Those of us skeptical of you seem very right.â
The conservative U.S. Ministry of Truth account joked, âThank God, you almost hired someone who believed in free speech.â

The Wall Street Journal reports Yaccarino was a key figure in the launch of NBCâs streaming service, Peacock.
She was a chairman of a World Economic Forum (WEF) task force.
Additionally, she was appointed by former President Donald Trump to a two-year term on his Council on Sports Fitness and Nutrition. During her time on the council, she helped develop an ad campaign with President Joe Bidenâs White House for the COVID-19 vaccine.
On Twitter, Yaccarino follows several prominent conservatives such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), the founder of the LibsofTikTok account, Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy, Fox Newsâ Jesse Watters, the Catturd account, conservative columnist Miranda Devine, Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio.)
