Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is suggesting a novel method for selecting the next President of the United States.
As the 2024 Election increasingly looks like it will be a re-match between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, Cruz went on Fox News to discuss the race.
The senator knocked former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley for raising doubts about the 45th president’s mental state.
He went on to suggest both men should take a cognitive test:
“What I suggested in the podcast today, I said alright, fine, I suggest this for the general election. Let’s do a cognitive test, Joe Biden versus Donald Trump, the winner is president.”
