One day after revealing he was diagnosed with the coronavirus, CNNâs Chris Cuomo is sharing some of the symptoms â including hallucinations â he has experienced from having the virus.
During his show on Wednesday night, Cuomo opened up about the symptoms he experienced, âIâm going to share some insights that Iâve learned about what this virus is like in terms of fighting it.â
He started by sharing that even though he said he felt âway worseâ than the day before, but he said his family tested negative for the virus.

Cuomo continued to share some of the symptoms he was experiencing including a prolonged, high fever.
He said, âIâve had a fever, youâve had a fever, but 102, 103, 103 plus that wouldnât quit, and it was like someone was beating me like a pinata.â

âI was shivering so much,â Cuomo said, adding, âI chipped my tooth, these are not cheap.â
Additionally, Cuomo said he had hallucinations that included his father, former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, and people from college.
âIt was freaky, what I lived through,â Cuomo said, adding, âI get it now, and if you match that with chest constriction and people canât breathe, I totally get why weâre losing so many people and why our hospitals are so crowded.â
He finished the segment with encouragement to Americans to âbe better than weâre being right nowâ and to hold government officials accountable to make sure they are âdoing everything they can to limit this.â
Cuomo revealed on March 31 that he had been diagnosed with the coronavirus, as IJR previously reported.
