Actor Robert de Niro called Stephen Miller, senior advisor to President Donald Trump, a āNazi,ā even though Miller is Jewish.
De Niro appeared on MSNBCās āThe Weekendāon Sunday.
According to a report on Mediaite, co-host Jonathan Capehart asked the actor about him stating Trump will not leave the White House in 2028.
Capehart agreed with De Niroās assessment prior to De Niro comparing Miller to Joseph Goebbels, who handled propaganda for Adolf Hitler.
āNo way! We see it, we see it, we see it all the time ā he will not want to leave. He set it up with, I guess heās the Goebbels of the cabinet, Stephen Miller. Heās a Nazi,ā De Niro said. āYes, he is, and heās Jewish, and he should be ashamed of himself!ā
Watch:
One of Millerās duties is leading the Trump Administrationās crackdown on illegal immigration.
Capehart switched gears
by asking about the White House posting a picture on X, which showed Trump and Vice President JD Vance wearing crowns. The post was in response to the āNo Kingsā protests Saturday. The picture also included Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) donning sombreros.
āWeāre built different. Have a good night, everyone,ā read the post, which included an emoji of a crown.
āItās all nonsense. We know itās all racist. I mean, thatās what he appeals to, thatās what Trump is,ā De Niro said.
De Niro said people need to keep āfighting and pushingā until Trump is out of the White House, because he wonāt want to leave, De Niro said.
De Niroās rant included calling Trump an āalienā who has āno empathy.ā
De Niro added Trump wants to āhurtā the USA.
