
A Democratic Party official resigned from his post and lost his job after joining a mob that targeted two girls accused of posing with federal immigration enforcement agents, the Arizona Republic reported.
Mark Holodnak, formerly the treasurer for the Democratic Party Executive Committee for Legislative District 12 in Arizona, was captured on video shouting at the girls as a mob pursued them, claiming they took photos with United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on Monday by RedState.com reporter R.C. Maxwell.
After the video of the encounter was posted, it sparked backlash across the internet with calls for Holodnakās firing, according to the Arizona Republic.
āYou little f***ing c***s!ā Holodnak screamed at the girls, who walked through the parking lot and closed a gate behind them as they were stalked by the mob. āYou little f***ing c***s!ā

Maxwell then tried to talk with Holodnak, who fled as Maxwell called out to him.
āDude, do you think that makes you right to scream at women and call them a c***?ā Maxwell asked. āCome back, sir! You were so brave to talk to those women!ā
Homesmart said that Holodnak had been terminated in a statement posted to X multiple times on Tuesday as users asked the company to address Holodnakās comments. The company did not respond to a request for comment.
āHomeSmart is aware of an incident in which one of our independent contractor agents acted unacceptably,ā the statement said. āThis is not reflective of HomeSmartās culture and values. The agent is no longer affiliated with HomeSmart.ā
Holodnak also resigned as treasurer of the LD12 Executive Committee, the Arizona Republic reported. The Arizona Democratic Party also didnāt respond to a request for comment
āI regret the manner I expressed myself, and these words do not reflect my values or intentions,ā Holodnak told the Arizona Republic. āI would like to offer a sincere apology to the two individuals in the video.
āI do not want my actions to reflect on the good work LD 12 does. So I have formally resigned from the board of LD 12 effective immediately.ā
ICE carried out raids on multiple locations of Zipps Sports Grill Monday, as part of what the United States Attorneyās office called āa months-long criminal investigationā into āfelony violations of federal law.ā Homeland Security Investigations arrested nearly three dozen illegal aliens across 14 locations, saying the investigation touched on āseveral federal law violations including unlawful employment of aliens, identity theft, and document fraud,ā in a statement to Fox 10 Phoenix.
Protesters surrounded the area as HSI executed the search warrants, with Democratic Rep. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona and Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs of Arizona criticizing the Trump administration over the operation, Fox 10 Phoenix reported.
The restaurant did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
