A House Democratic lawmaker says a witness testified President Joe Biden spoke to some of his son’s business partners.
However, he insists the conversations detailed by the witness were not concerning.
On Monday, Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-N.Y.) addressed Devon Archer’s, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, testimony.
There was speculation Archer would tell lawmakers the younger Biden regularly introduced his business associates to his father.
Goldman told reporters Archer said Hunter Biden would put his father on speakerphone for his associates.
However, he insisted they were casual conversations unrelated to business dealings.
“It was clear… it was part of the daily conversations that Hunter Biden had with his father. And it sounded like most of the time, now-President Biden didn’t even know who the people ,” the congressman said.
