Former Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz and attorney for former President Donald Trump is shooting down claims that the presidential election was âstolen.â
During an appearance on Fox News on Thursday night, Dershowitz said, âNumber one, thereâs never been a perfect election. JFKâs election wasnât perfect, George Bushâs election was imperfect, and the current election wasnât perfect.â
âNumber two, the evidence seems to strongly suggest that it wasnât stolen and that the outcome was right,â he added.

He went on to dismiss the idea that Trump will be âreinstatedâ as president, âThere would not be a reversal of fortune, a reversal of the election. That would not happen, unless we found â unbelievably â it didnât happen here, massive, massive, deliberate fraud. But itâs just not going to happen.â
âWe have to accept the fact that Joe Biden is the President of the United States, he will be the president of the United States until the next election, but we have to make sure that future elections are transparent,â he added.
Dershowitz went on to warn that it is âa very unhealthy thing in a democracy if 30 million, 50 million people donât trust the outcome of an election.â
Since the election, Trump has repeated the unfounded claim that the election was stolen through widespread fraud. He has also reportedly told people that he will be reinstated as president. However, there is no mechanism in the Constitution to reinstate a president.
