Previously, Howard said he was āsurprised by some of the positions taken and statements heās made.ā
āI always knew he was conservative, but struck me as a very center-right, a kind of a moderate thinker,ā Howard told The Hollywood Reporter in 2022.
In the Variety video, Howard said he has worried about the ārhetoric coming out ofā the current Republican ticket.
He also said people need to ālisten to what the candidates are saying, today,ā as opposed to what have said in the past.
