Disney+ actress Margaret Cho is advocating for a transgender princess or prince to be represented in Disney movies.

In a recent interview with Times of India, Cho, 54, opened up about her desire for LGBT inclusion.

“I would love to see them everywhere,” the comedian explained. “I would love to see trans characters and different types of people in roles of like Disney Princess, Disney Prince and Disney everything.”

She added, “I think this would be really important and it’s a move towards the future. It’s a move towards (sic) who we are. I think it’s really admirable and really exciting.”

In the new Disney+ movie “Prom Pact,” which premiered on March 30, Cho played the role of an LGBT guidance counselor, according to the Daily Wire.

On April 13, media personality Oli London tweeted about Cho’s controversial statement and many Twitter users were not on board with her suggestion.

“Well, we have all been watching Disney take steps to alter our children’s (sic) minds…so let them follow Bud Light—let them understand we will leave them in the dust if they get even more ‘woke’! All good things come to an end…,” one Twitter user wrote, referencing backlash the beer brand received after partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Another Twitter user wrote, “What is up with this new Trans obsession?”

“I dare them to do it. It’ll be the end of business for Disney,” another Twitter user said.

One Twitter user noted, “This might be the first funny thing she’s ever said.”

“I dont get this. We know shes (sic) not watching Disney videos, theres (sic) plenty of adult shows for her to watch. Let kids be kids, they dont (sic) need to be exposed to adult topics & when that time comes its (sic) not from a Disney movie,” another Twitter user wrote.
