Fox Newsâ Peter Doocy is asking about Vice President Kamala Harrisâuse of what sounds like a Southern accent.
During a press briefing on Tuesday, Doocy asked, âSince when does the vice president have what sounds like a Southern accent?â
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded, âI have no idea what youâre talking about.â
Doocy noted Harris was seen in Detroit, Michigan talking about unions while using âone tone of voiceâ and then at a different rally the same day using a different accent.
Jean-Pierre shot back, âIs this something that you think⌠OK, Peter⌠I mean, do you hear the question⌠I mean, do you think Americans think that this is an important question?â
Watch the video below:
Jean-Pierre added, âThey care about the economy. They care about lowering costs. They care about healthcare. Thatâs what Americans care about⌠Iâm not even going to entertain some question about the president. Itâs just⌠hearing it sounds so ridiculous.â
Doocy responded by suggesting Harrisâ accent is ridiculous.
However, the press secretary shot back, âThe question, Iâm talking about the question, is just insane.â
When Doocy asked if that is how Harris normally talks, Jean-Pierre said, âWeâre moving on, weâre so moving on.â
