Billionaire and X owner Elon Musk had choice words for advertisers who are boycotting X â âGo F*** yourself.âÂ

He spoke candidly about his stance during an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin at the New York Times DealBook Summit, which. aired on CNBC.
Musk was asked about advertisers leaving X, formerly known as Twitter, after he was criticized for agreeing with an âantisemitic post,â via The Hill.
Sorkin stated, âThere was advertisers leaving. We talked to Bob iger today.â
Before Sorkin finished his sentence, Musk said, âI hope they stop.â
He elaborated, âDonât advertise!â
Sorkin was taken aback at this and said, âYou donât want them to advertise?â
Musk looked at the crowd and said, âNo.â
âWhat do you mean?â Sorkin asked.
Musk stated, âIf someoneâs going to try and blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money? Go f*** yourself.â
Sorkin covered his mouth and then scrambled to ask, âButâŚâ
Then Musk reiterated his stance. He gestured grandly and slowly said, âGo. F*** yourself!â while the audience laughed.
He added, âIs that clear? I hope it is.â
âHey, Bob, if youâre in the audience ⌠thatâs how I feel,â Musk concluded, addressing Disneyâs CEO directly.
Muskâs words led to a massive response on X. Spaces Host Tara Bull posted a list of all the companies allegedly trying to âblackmail Elon Musk.â
She then asked, âIs it time to boycott them?â
Gen. Mike Flynn, who was the U.S. national security advisor during President Donald Trumpâs term in office, wrote, âThis is a very real and honest response by @elonmusk to what can only be described as extortion by the woke corporate world.â
Retired Harvard professor Daniel F. Baranowski stated, âI hope that you stand 100% with @elonmusk on this issue and every issue concerning free speech!â
âElon is an American hero!â he added.
Brenden Dilly, host of the Dilley Show, called Muskâs decision to tell âthe entire globalist establishment and liberal elitesâ off âabsolutely glorious.â
âIf@elonmusk continues to walk this path, heâs going to save freedom of speech and, in turn, save the world,â he concluded.
