Eric Trump remembers his father wasnât defeated after he was convicted in 2024 in a New York court.
âWe were driving out of the court. My father had just been convicted⌠and the two of us are in the car together,â the younger Trump said on the latest episode of the âHang Out with Sean Hannityâ podcast.
âAnd he looked at me, and he goes, âHoney, I donât know how, but somehow weâre going to win, and somehow weâre going to win this all.'â
President Donald Trump, who was not president at the time, had just been convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records.
Eric Trump recalled it as the âlowest momentâ that also sparked hope for the future.
âHe wasnât just talking about the actual court case⌠he was also talking about winning the White House back and winning the entire election,â he added.
Trump and his wife, Fox News host Lara Trump discussed the 2024 case involving the presidentâs alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.
Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.
A jury ultimately found Trump guilty on all counts after six-week trial in New York City.
Trump rebounded and sought reelection to a second term after four years with Joe Biden as president.
âHe came from such a place of positivity in such an unbelievably low moment,â Trump said.
âIâll never forget that as long as I live,â he added.
