Questions are mounting regarding a recent interview between “60 Minutes” and Vice President Kamala Harris and the show’s Ethical Standards.

The news show has been critized after allegedly editing Harris’ answer to a question posed by “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker, The New York Post reported.

The question, regarding the Biden administration’s relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was part of the special that aired on Monday, per Fox News.

Harris’ reply varied from the “word salad” shown in a clip to promote the interview shown by “Face the Nation” on Sunday, The Post reported.

As Fox News reported, Harris was criticized by conservatives Sunday for offering a lengthy answer when she was asked why Netanyahu wasn’t listening to the U.S.

“Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region,” Harris said in the “Face the Nation” version.

The version that aired Monday night was different and more succinct.

“We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end,” Harris said on the “60 Minutes” version.

Now, former CBS News staffers are calling into question whether her answer was edited, The Post reported.

They are demanding an independent investigation into “60 Minutes.”

The network, in turn, has refused to release the full, unedited transcript.

Others have also started to question the ethical practices by the Tiffany Network. This includes former President Donald Trump.

“I think there should be an outside investigation,” a former CBS News journalist told The Post. “Obviously, there’s a problem here. If they care about journalistic integrity, they would conduct an investigation or release the full transcript.”

A second CBS source said the different answers make it seem that “60 Minutes” is “biased.”

“Their credibility has been called into question and their impartiality has been called into question,” according to the source. “Don’t you need a full-throated review of what went wrong?”

CBS has not commented if it planned to start an investigation.
