A routine afternoon in Portland was shattered by gunfire Thursday when federal officers were involved in a Shooting that left two people wounded, according to the FBI.

The incident unfolded around midafternoon near the 10000 block of Main Street, drawing a swift law enforcement response and triggering a federal investigation, according to Fox News

Authorities have released a few details so far, citing the early and active nature of the probe.

In a public statement posted on X, the bureau confirmed it is leading the investigation into the Shooting, which involved agents from Customs and Border Protection.
