FBI Raids John Bolton’s Home In National Security Investigation

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has raided the home of former National Security Advisor John Bolton as part of a national security investigation, the New York Post reported Friday.

Federal agents arrived at Bolton’s residence in Bethesda, Maryland, at 7 a.m. Friday morning, the order coming  directly from FBI Director Kash Patel, according to the Post. Bolton, who served as a national security advisor during President Donald Trump’s first term, was previously under investigation for misuse of classified documents; that probe was dropped under former President Joe Biden.

“This is related to a national security investigation of Mr. Bolton that was shut down by the Biden administration for political reasons,” a source familiar with the raid told Daily Caller editorial director Vince Coglianese. “It involves stealing classified documents and weaponizing them for political purposes.
