Sen. John Fetterman (D-Penn.) calls it as he sees it ā as he proved in his first post onĀ Truth Social.Ā
The Democratic lawmaker first posted on President-elect Donald Trumpās social media platform Tuesday night to call for the Republican Trump to be pardoned in his hush money case in New York. He also agreed with President Joe Biden pardoning his son, Hunter Biden, on federal gun and tax evasion charges.
In his post, Fetterman included a screenshot of an MSNBC report with the headline, āManhattan DA Alvin Bragg responds to Trumpās motion to dismiss the hush money case.ā
Fetterman wrote, āMy first truth⦠The Trump hush money and Hunter Biden cases were both bullsh*t, and pardons are appropriate. Weaponizing the judiciary for blatant, partisan gain diminishes the collective faith in our institutions and sows further division.ā
Fetterman has not posted since as of early Wednesday afternoon and has amassed more than 28,000 followers.
Fetterman also went to his account on X, formerly Twitter, to announce he had joined Truth Social and Bluesky.
āMeeting folks where they are,ā he wrote.
