Former NFL defensive end and sports broadcaster Marcellus Wiley was arrested Saturday in Orlando, Florida, after his wife accused him of threatening to kill her and becoming physically aggressive during an incident at a hotel, according to an Arrest affidavit.

According to the New York Post, police responded to the Orlando World Marriott after Annemarie Wiley, a former full-time cast member on Season 13 of Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," reported an alleged battery.

Authorities said the couple's three children, along with other children staying at the hotel for a basketball tournament, were present when officers arrived.

According to the affidavit, Annemarie Wiley told police she feared for her safety and wanted her husband removed from the hotel room. She also told officers she plans to file for divorce.

Investigators said Annemarie alleged the incident began Friday morning when Wiley stood over her and intentionally poked her in the cheek with one finger while their 7-year-old daughter watched.

She also claimed Wiley had previously been violent toward her, although those alleged incidents were never reported to law enforcement.

Police included in the affidavit that Annemarie told them Wiley threatened to kill her, prompting her to seek help from authorities.

Wiley denied the allegations during his interview with investigators.

According to the affidavit, he told police the couple did not have a physical altercation at the hotel and insisted he had never become physically violent with his wife.

He said he remained in the hotel room caring for the children and showed officers text messages that he described as cordial exchanges between himself and Annemarie.

The Arrest marks the latest legal issue involving the former Pro Bowl defensive end.

Earlier this year, Rolling Stone reported that four women accused Wiley of sexual assault.

Wiley denied those allegations during an episode of his podcast, saying he possessed evidence that would disprove what he called "alleged misrepresentations."

The source material also states that Wiley was previously sued by three individuals who accused him of rape during his time at Columbia University.
