Former President Donald Trump is facing more criticism for his comment about the Constitution.
On Tuesday, Fox Businessâ Stuart Varney displayed a graphic of 2022 candidates who were endorsed by Trump and lost.
âRight before todayâs election, he was talking about terminating parts of the Constitution,â he said. âThat plays right into the Democratsâ hands. Heâs trying to walk it back today. But the damage has been done.â
Varney went on to note that if Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) wins the run-off election on Tuesday, it would âcementâ Democratsâ control of the Senate âmaking it much easier for them to confirm judges and other top officials.â
âIf wins, Trump will take all the credit guaranteed. If Walker loses, Trump will blame Walker for not inviting Trump into the state,â he added.

Over the weekend, Trump wrote on Truth Social, âDo you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.â
He added, âOur great âFoundersâ did not want, and would not condone, False Fraudulent Elections!â
On Monday, Trump insisted he did not call for parts of the Constitution to be suspended.
âThe Fake News is actually trying to convince the American People that I said I wanted to âterminateâ the Constitution. This is simply more DISINFORMATION LIES, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and all of their other HOAXES SCAMS,â he wrote.
The former president added, âWhat I said was that when there is âMASSIVE WIDESPREAD FRAUD DECEPTION,â as has been irrefutably proven in the 2020 Presidential Election, steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG.â

The Wall Street Journalâs editorial board also shredded Trumpâs post in an editorial titled, âDonald Trump Is ⌠the Terminator.â
âFor years, Mr. Trumpâs Twitter feed was the gift that kept on givingâto Democrats. Now his Truth Social account is playing the same role, giving the media a way to turn unfavorable stories back to Mr. Trumpâs outburst du jour,â the Journal wrote.
It added, âHis presidential campaign is less than a month old. Already Mr. Trump has dined with anti-Semites and a white nationalist, while calling for himself to be reinstated as President, even if this requires the âterminationâ of whatever in the Constitution stands in the way. What heâll really terminate is the GOP.â
