“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg appeared to get distracted by some chewing during the show.

On Wednesday, Goldberg told viewers the co-hosts were “keeping our eyes out for the breaking news about this mass shooting in Virginia at the Walmart last night.”

“As the country prepares to come together with loved ones over Thanksgiving. Please don’t forget those who are not going to be so fortunate 
 and really try to 
 be thankful because tomorrow’s never promised,” she continued.

She went on:

“And this is, you know, it’s the Thanksgiving show. And we want to be, you know, up and rolling with it but it is very hard to start these shows sometimes because of 
 things we some 
”

As Goldberg spoke, a crunching sound was heard which apparently interrupted her train of thought as she asked co-host Joy Behar, “What are you eating?”

“I wasn’t eating, it was a Tic Tac,” Behar responded.

She added, “I can’t believe you. You have super sonic hearing.”

Co-host Alyssa Farah-Griffin said it was “really loud.”

“They heard it over there,” Goldberg asserted as she pointed to the audience.

When Sunny Hostin, who was sitting right next to Behar, said she did not hear the crunch, Goldberg shot back, “She didn’t want to hear it.”

“She only hears what she wants to hear,” she added.
