A House Republican is claiming to have evidence President Joe Biden was āunder the influenceā during his State of the Union address.
Rep. Greg Murphy (R-N.C.) appeared on Fox Businessā Maria Bartiromoās show Thursday when he made the explosive claim.
āIāll just be very plain and simple. I was at the State of the Union address and Joe Biden must have been jacked up on something that day,ā Murphy said.
He continued, āI absolutely believe that from a medical viewpoint and have a good bit of knowledge that happened. He canāt stand and he canāt stand under the lights for that long and I donāt think he can keep a concept in his brain that long.ā
The Republican lawmaker then tried to pivot to offering advice to former President Donald Trump about how to debate Biden, such as encouraging him to āact presidential.ā He also claimed Biden will āfalterā if he ādoesnāt have things right in front of him telling him what to do.ā
Watch the video below:
Bartiromo returned to the congressmanās explosive claim, asking, āWhat do you mean he was jacked up at the State of the Union?ā
āI believe they gave him something to sustain the lights and sustain the vigor that he had. That was not Joe Biden. I was in there. He screamed for two hours,ā Murphy explained.
He suggested, āMaybe we can talk offline and Iāll show something that proves that.ā
āYouāll show me what?ā the host asked.
Murphy responded, āI think I can have some evidence that shows that he was given something before that.ā
āWow, OK,ā Bartiromo said, asking, āIn terms of medicine?ā
Murphy claimed Biden is being āmanufacturedā the Democrat Party to be President of the United States.ā
The host wound down the segment by saying she wanted to follow up on his claim and insisted it is āreally compelling.ā
